NADIA NELL STARBINSKI: AUTHOR, POET, ONLINE STORYTELLER
Nadia N. Starbinski is an author and creator based in the Greater New York area. Raised in Northern New Jersey, she has always been drawn to stories - first in childhood notebooks, later on stages, and eventually across digital platforms where her writing found a devoted online readership.
In 2017, she self-published her debut poetry collection, Excerpts from the Book I’ll Never Write, a raw and intimate body of work that resonated widely with readers navigating identity, love, and loss. She followed it with her second collection, Rip Tides, the following year. Her work explores themes of longing, emotional inheritance, becoming, and the quiet complexities of modern womanhood. She is currently developing a third collection rooted in family, forgiveness, and generational memory, slated for release in 2026.
Drawing on her background in journalism and narrative storytelling, Starbinski approaches both writing and digital media with the same intention: clarity, honesty, and structure. What began as poetry evolved into a broader creator career grounded in storytelling — where essays, visual content, and social media are treated not as performance, but as an extension of authorship.
She is the writer behind The Gap Between, a weekly column examining modern womanhood and the space between what we show and what we live. Through long-form essays, she explores marriage, ambition, healing, family dynamics, and the tension between authenticity and performance in the digital age.
In 2025, she launched Nell & Co. Creative Studio, a boutique content house dedicated to helping bold brands and real people tell their stories through intentional online storytelling. Built as a space where strategy meets creativity, the studio focuses on digital-first content — offering narrative-driven social media support, content creation, and behind-the-scenes event coverage designed specifically for the online space.
At the center of everything she creates — whether on the page or on screen — is a commitment to storytelling that feels lived-in rather than staged.
She resides in Jersey City with her husband, Ryan, and their two rescue pitbulls.
Authored Works
Rip Tides (c) 2018
Riptides unfolds in two movements.
The first, Three Sheets to the Wind: Advice Our Drunk Mother Gave You, is a series of sharp, stripped-down one-liners — small sentences that linger long after you read them.
The second, Deep Six: Disposed Memories, moves into full poems exploring heartbreak, healing, and the quiet work of making peace with what once pulled you under.
Together, the collection traces the undertow of love and loss — and the resilience it takes to rise.
Written as a sequel to EFTBINW
Excerpts from the Book I’ll Never Write (c) 2017
Excerpts from the Book I’ll Never Write is a collection of poems and essays written over the course of a decade — pieces once kept private, later gathered into one place.
Organized into four sections - love, loss, acceptance, and growth — the book traces the evolution of voice, identity, and becoming.
It is both a time capsule and a quiet reckoning.
